Sun Outdoors

In 2020, Sun Outdoors broke ground on a beautiful new RV resort on the edge of San Diego Bay. We were given the opportunity to help them with several fun projects. We worked with the design team to flesh out ideas from liked photos, offered advice on materials that would work in the harsh coastal air, and provide options for the gaps in between. Our favorite was a road arch, over the walking promenade that divides the resort. The 16' tall by 21' wide arch was built completely out of stainless steel and includes face halo lit letters and backlit 1" thick sea glass in the columns. Other projects included roof mounted face halo lit letters for the main buildings, info graphics for the surrounding marshlands, and wayfinding throughout the resort.
